Lauren Hilsheimer

Lauren Elise Hilsheimer was an incredible gift from God, given to Mark and Kirsten Hilsheimer on June 3, 2008. From the very beginning, her heart was in need of healing. Her parents pursued every avenue, traveling the ends of the Earth to make these miracles possible. She bravely endured two open-heart operations within the first four months of her life. God showered her family with grace by providing her with good health and an incredible zest for life during the short time she had. During Lauren?s three years, she taught many lessons of love, bravery, and faith. Her life was full of happiness and joy. Everyone who knew Lauren, or knew of her story, was blessed with amazing inspiration through her courage, strength, and spirit. The Lord was both graceful and purposeful in the creation of her beautiful life. Lauren?s life will be celebrated with each joyful and loving memory. She will be missed more than words can describe, and Lauren?s legacy will forever fill the hearts of those she left behind with beauty. Lauren was preceded in death by great-grandparents Ralph Cercy Sr., Gordon Kluksdahl, and George and Lanora Hilsheimer, and uncle Trey Cercy. She is survived by her parents Mark and Kirsten Hilsheimer of Jenks, brother Adam Hilsheimer of Jenks, grandparents Dan and Shirley Hilsheimer of Tulsa, and Ralph and Karen Cercy of Bixby, great-grandparents Donna Kluksdahl of Powell, Wyoming, Alice Cercy of Benton, Arkansas, and Truman and Evelyn Dickerson of Oklahoma City, uncle Chad Hilsheimer of Tulsa, aunt and uncle Katie and Mitch Harney of Broken Arrow, along with other family members, family friends, and acquaintances. Visitation will be 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service. Funeral services are 11:00 AM on Friday, July 29, 2011, at South Tulsa Baptist Church, 10310 South Sheridan Road, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dr. Wana Archer will officiate. Pallbearers are: Chad Hilsheimer, Mitch Harney, John Becraft, and Jeff Krismer. Honorary pallbearers are: Adam Hilsheimer, Dan Hilsheimer, Ralph Cercy, Keith Dickerson, Kevin Baum, and Jeremy Krismer. Donations can be made in memory of Lauren to the "I Love Lauren?
